Secrets in Our Marriage

This story kept growing as I progressed with it. One of my favorite short stories by Stephen King, A Good Marriage, served as inspiration — I wanted to create a similar vibe but with more mysterious and alien horror elements.

This piece sits somewhere between environment design and keyframe concept, with a touch of comic book storytelling thanks to the smaller panels — an idea stolen from Outcast by Paul Azaceta, whose storytelling style I deeply admire. I added these extra elements because I was eager to share the full scope of the story.

The penultimate image was created solely for clarification purposes. I hope it all makes sense! :)

(During the project, I learned how to use Plasticity, which has been a real game-changer for modeling, at least for me. The stuff at the end was made with it (well, the base of them), and it was so much quicker and less frustrating than the polygonal method. I just want to spread the word — I think many of us could benefit from it.)
